How might we make it easier for Virginians to access state park information on the go?
The Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation manages 41 parks statewide, but their dense website makes it hard for users to find relevant, timely information. Through a design thinking process that included stakeholder interviews, customer personas, and wireframing, I proposed a mobile app experience tailored to visitors’ needs — making trip planning, event discovery, and park updates more accessible for the public.
